Welcome to the

Networking Event with Businesses in Europe and Oslo Innovation Week


The EEA and Norway Grants support programmes on Business Development, Innovation and SMEs in Europe. The aim is to increase competitiveness and value-creation as well as cooperation with Norway. Oslo Innovation Week (OIW) is an excellent place for businesses in Europe to meet businesses, startups, scaleup professionals, researchers, investors and other stakeholders in Norway. The aim of the event is networking between companies, startups, scaleup professionals, researchers, incubators/accelerators and other stakeholders interested in innovation. 

Matchmaking Online and On-site

Register to the event by making a profile in this B2Match platform. Please note that participation is subject to approval. This is also a matchmaking platform. Registration will allow you to see the profiles of the other participants, contact them and organise a meeting, at the event in Oslo, online or both. Add videos, links, picture and all other material in your profile to create interest!

European Businesses

Around 100 businesses from Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Latvia, Poland and Romania have been selected to participate at the event and at Oslo Innovation Week. Half of the businesses are from Poland.

Norwegian Participants

We also invite Norwegian businesses and actors from the startup ecosystem in Oslo, including investors, entrepreneurs, scaleup professionals, research institutes and other stakeholders. For Norwegian participants, this is an opportunity to connect with leading businesses and startups from upcoming markets in Europe.


Financing for Cooperation in Europe

The EEA and Norway Grants launches it final round of Open Calls for Project Proposals this autumn. See the open calls below. 

Norwegian entities can be partner in all projects or activities under the EEA and Norway Grants. Bilateral cooperation is encouraged. The event will present the funding available and the matchmaking will connect partners for for joint applications.

Bulgaria

Startups from Bulgaria can apply for travel grants to participate. Invitations are open to startups which have previously applied to one of the calls under the EEA and Norway Grants programme in Bulgaria.

The travel grant for this event exceptionally is a lump sum (one-time payment) of 1500 euro per company. You apply and see more information on the event website. The deadline is 9 September 2022.

Croatia

Businesses from Croatia can apply for travel grants to participate. The businesses need to have been established at least one year ago and operate within the areas of green industry innovation or blue growth, in line with the upcoming Open Call for Proposals in Croatia. The pre-announcement of the upcoming Call will be launched in August/September.

Greece

Businesses from Greece can apply for travel grants to participate. The businesses need to have been established at least one year ago and operate within the areas of green industry innovation, blue growth or ICT, in line with the upcoming Open Call for Proposals in Greece. The pre-announcement of the upcoming Call will be launched in August/September.

The travel grant for this event exceptionally is a lump sum (one-time payment) of 1500 euro per company.  See more information under the tab 'Travel Grants' in this platform. You apply and see more information when registering for this event in this platform. The deadline is 15 September 2022.

Latvia

Invitations are open to companies in Latvia and travel grants are available. The applications for participation and travel grants will be via the Latvian Investment Agency (LIAA) via this link. The deadline is 4 September 2022. For any questions, contact Rudolfs Erdmanis at rudolfs.erdmanis@liaa.gov.lv.

Romania

Startups from Romania can apply for travel grants to participate at Oslo Innovation Week and the EEA and Norway Grants event here. Funding through the EEA and Norway Grants

The EEA and Norway Grants support projects on business innovation, value creation and competitiveness in Europe. It also encourages cooperation with partners in Norway, Iceland or Liechtenstein in all projects. 

The Grants are the contribution from Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein to reducing social and economic disparities and strengthening cooperation in Europe.
